This November, Ganga to the Bay of Bengal Runs provide an amazing aqua-therapy to the running seekers. On 2nd November 2014, Navy Vizag Running And Living Half Marathon is organized by the Eastern Naval Command to prep up for the India’s most challenging half Marathon, i.e. The 3rd Rishikesh Running And Living Cross Country Half Marathon. This Marathon is scheduled to be held on 9th November 2014.
The Registration for the Navy Vizag Running And Living Half Marathon will be open till 31st July. So hurry up, time is running so soon. There is a good connectivity between Hyderabad, Kolkatta and Chennai so you can either prefer train journey or air journey. All the essential requirements like water, sport drinks, toilets, health care team and many others are available at various points of the marathon. This school is set up and run by the Naval Wives Welfare Association and many other associations also provide support to this school.
Race involves some risk so in this marathon expert runner will be provided to the runners. This marathon has some ups and downs, but nevertheless, you will surely experience the thrill of a lifetime when you cross the finish line. The half marathon will be open for 3.15 hours from the 5.15 am so don’t be late. You will also get an enthusiastic volunteer support so whenever you need any sort of help ask them.
Each finisher of this Half Marathon will get an attractive medal, certificate and 10.55k. The starting point of the runs will be Kursura Submarine and will end at the Naval Coastal battery. At the Kursura Museum, you can pick up your bib for all races between 2 – 6 pm on the 31st October and 8am – 2pm on 1st November.
The registration for the Rishikesh Running And Living Half Marathon will be closed on 19th October. The ultimate trail and the fantastic views provide you an amazing experience and you will be proud after finishing the line. There is a certain age limit for the different races.
